My quest to develop something novel and unique has led me to create contemporary abstract compositions. Alphabets, letters and words from essential elements of my design and the form and movement of the alphabets supplements my composition. I plan my design meticulously and then transfer these to paper with masking fluid. However, my selection and grading of color, whether applied by palette knife, brush or fingers is entirely dependent on my mood at the time and my fixation to the subject.
I have a broad palette and I use interaction of colors with the traditional elements, shapes and forms of the alphabet to convey the title of the painting in a manner that it is more receptive to the viewer who may lack the understanding of the foreign script .
The aim of my work is to present a visual stimulus through colors and forms and entice the viewer to explore the language and its history further.
